The company changed its focus to professional translation services and interpreting services as a result of The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) passing in 1995, which increased the demand for translation in the United States. Today, The Geo Group's translator, linguist, and interpreter network encompasses over 60 countries. Global contractors communicate with the Madison, Wisconsin-based headquarters and sales offices in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis/St. Paul.
