  Scott W. Roeming

  Scott moved to Madison, Wisconsin, a few days after he was born in Milwaukee on October 27, 1955. He graduated from Edgewood High School in 1973 and the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1981 with a BS in Geology. Although Geology and foreign language services are not directly related, Scott has gained the tools to run a successful company based on 12 years of business experience in advertising, sales, and management.

  Georgia Roeming

  Georgia was born and raised in Chicago. Her parents enrolled her in ice skating lessons to keep her busy. She skated her way to Madison, where she graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in Communications. She married Scott, a local radio salesman, and they proceeded to create The Geo Group together.

• Translation Manager

  Diane Haines

  Diane was born and raised in Wisconsin, graduating from high school with honors in 1979. She gathered business experience in the beautiful surroundings of Colorado, Florida, and Wyoming, then returned home in 1999 to join The Geo Group as a sales assistant and receptionist. Diane has grown with the company by managing project coordinators and providing outstanding customer service for GE Healthcare. Today, she is the Translation Manager managing the entire project management department.

• Business Manager

  Mary Pertzborn

  After earning a degree in Accounting and Human Resources, Mary joined The Geo Group in 2000 as a Business and Human Resources Manager. Her duties have expanded with the growing company, which now employs over 40 staff members. She manages a cheerful staff of receptionists who greet our clients and vendors on the phone and in person.

• AV Manager

  Douglas Swenson

  Doug has been with The Geo Group since 2004. He is a native of Spring Green, Wisconsin, and has a background in theater production and performance. He has lived, worked, and performed in New York City, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys working in an environment where he can use his language skills on a daily basis. In his spare time, Doug can be found singing in local choirs, musicals, and operas.

• Desktop Publishing Manager

  Mark Kostecky

  Mark has been employed at The Geo Group as Manager of the Desktop Publishing department since 2002. He was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and attended UW-La Crosse as an Education major, ultimately graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and a minor in Earth Sciences. Mark entered into a Masters program in Geography with an emphasis on Cartography at UW-Madison shortly thereafter. He began his career with a mapping firm in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Cartographic Technician and, after several years of hard work, was promoted to Project Manager.

• IT Manager

  Philipp Strazny

  Born, raised, and educated near Cologne, Germany, Philipp met his wife in Lancaster, England, and eventually moved to her home state of Wisconsin. He is a trained linguist and finds all cognitive aspects of language interesting. For several years, he translated English to German projects for The Geo Group. Since 2000, his interests have created opportunities in IT and Localization. At The Geo Group, Philipp manages the IT Department and is our Localization Specialist.
