GEORGIA ROEMING APPOINTED TO THE
AAF-MADISON FOUNDATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MADISON, WI, JUNE, 2008: GEORGIA ROEMING, owner of The Geo Group Corporation has been appointed to a three-year term to the American Advertising Federation-Madison Chapter Board of Trustees.
Georgia has a long history with the AAF. In addition to serving as President in 1995, she received the foundation's most prestigious award in 2000, the Silver Medal. Georgia is currently serving as President of the foundation's Board of Trustees and is one of three AAF members managing the Foundation Funds program.
Through AAF, Foundation Funds awards scholarships to college students majoring in a variety of advertising disciplines. Scholarships are distributed to students attending the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Madison Area Technical College and the Madison Media Institute.
